Collection: COMING SOON - Sticks and Stones

Sticks and Stones challenges the old saying: “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” In truth, words do hurt — often deeply and lastingly. They shape our inner landscape - the emotional geography through which we navigate the world and our place within it.

This series explores the powerful duality of language. Words can harm or they can heal. They can isolate or they can connect. Through layered imagery of rocks, imagined strata, and bare trees, I explore the cumulative impact of language: layered, weighty, and deeply embedded. These visual elements become metaphors for the lasting imprint of what is said and how it is received.

Sticks and Stones invites quiet reflection on the responsibility we carry with our words. We all have the right to speak — but also the power to choose language that uplifts, respects, and connects. Words are powerful. Wield them well.
