The Earth Remembers (40cm x 40cm)

The layers of our earth stand as symbols of visible and lasting human impact. And like layers of sediment beneath the surface, words leave a residue on our inner terrain - our ‘emotional geography’. They accumulate beneath the surface of our lives. Whether hurtful or healing, they are etched into our identity.

This imaginary stratigraphy reminds us not only of the damage that language can inflict but also of the power of words to heal and to connect, to nurture and to encourage.

We all have the right to speak. We also have the power to choose language that uplifts, respects, and connects. Words are powerful. Wield them well.
