The Joy is in the Journey

We are taught to seek joy as though it were a destination. As though it could be found in an achievement, a possession, or a perfectly orchestrated moment. We chase it, measure it, and fear its absence, believing it is something to be earned. But could it be that joy is found under each stone upon which we step, in each unfolding moment of our journey? When we stop chasing the horizon, we may find that joy has been with us all along, waiting to be noticed.
